Award-Worthy Popcorn Recipes

We don’t know who’ll win best score, picture or actor, but we know these recipes will win you over! Transform plain popcorn into perfect pre-show munchies. The hard part will be choosing a winner!

BBQ Ranch Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 2 bags of microwave popcorn, popped
  • 1 packet of dry ranch dressing mix
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp light brown sugar

Directions

  1. Whisk together ranch, paprika and brown sugar. Set aside.
  2. Pour popped popcorn into large mixing bowl.
  3. Sprinkle all of the seasoning mixture onto the popcorn and stir to coat completely. Enjoy!

Cinnamon Toast Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of microwave popcorn, popped
  • 4 tbsp salted butter
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Pour popped popcorn into large mixing bowl.
  2. Melt butter in the microwave for 20 seconds.
  3. Drizzle butter onto the popcorn and mix to coat completely.
  4. Whisk together sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mix onto the popcorn (do not dump it all on at once) and adjust to taste. Enjoy!

Chili Lime Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of microwave popcorn, popped
  • 3 tbsp salted butter
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • light squeeze of the juice of a lime
  • ½ lime zest

Directions

  1. Pour popped popcorn into large mixing bowl.
  2. Melt the butter in the microwave for 20 seconds. Then drizzle over the popcorn and toss to coat.
  3. Whisk together the lime zest, lime juice and chili powder. Sprinkle over the buttered popcorn and enjoy!

S’mores Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of microwave popcorn, popped
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 5 graham crackers, ground up into crumbs
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup chocolate chips, melted

Directions

  1. Pour popped popcorn into large mixing bowl.
  2. Drizzle melted butter over popcorn and throw in the graham crackers. Mix to coat completely.
  3. Add marshmallows and toss again.
  4. Pour popcorn onto baking sheet and drizzle with melted chocolate. Let harden for 30 minutes and enjoy!
